We are looking for experienced Gypsum Workers to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for installing and finishing gypsum boards (drywall/partition work) for walls, ceilings, and decorative elements in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards accurately on walls and ceilings.
- Frame structures with metal or wooden studs before board installation.
- Apply joint compound and tape seams to ensure smooth surfaces.
- Sand and finish joints, edges, and surfaces for painting or final finishing.
- Construct gypsum ceiling designs, bulkheads, and other decorative features.
- Repair and patch damaged drywall or ceilings as needed.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, or design specifications.
- Ensure work is completed according to safety standards and project timelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a gypsum board installer/finisher or similar role.
- Skilled in cutting, fitting, and finishing gypsum boards.
- Knowledge of ceiling and partition system installation techniques.
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Physical stamina and attention to detail.
