Job Title: Gypsum carpenter/painter Responsibilities: Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisor. Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc. and following technical drawings. Maintenance works for the gypsum board; cement sheet works with final finishing works. Knowledge about gypsum board sizes & frames, also painting codes. Checking measurements for proper alignments & ordering all supplies needed for the project. Completing projects within the specified timeline. Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g., gypsum stucco applying, filler use as per standard, chemical applying) and hand tools. Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture. Apply varnish and other finishes, Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions. Requirements Minimum of 3 years proven experience in residential remodeling and construction as Experience working in diverse teams. Respect for the ancient traditions of the profession. Previous experience of working in a maintenance field as a gypsum carpenter and painting worker. Ability to carry heavy objects and work in UAE weather conditions. Ability to prioritize tasks and lead other members of the team. A willingness to always follow safety guidelines. Excellent organizational skills.
