Job Title: Gypsum carpenter/painter Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisor. \xc2\xb7 Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc. and following technical drawings. \xc2\xb7 Maintenance works for the gypsum board; cement sheet works with final finishing works. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge about gypsum board sizes & frames, also painting codes. \xc2\xb7 Checking measurements for proper alignments & ordering all supplies needed for the project. \xc2\xb7 Completing projects within the specified timeline. \xc2\xb7 Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g., gypsum stucco applying, filler use as per standard, chemical applying) and hand tools. \xc2\xb7 Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture. \xc2\xb7 Apply varnish and other finishes, \xc2\xb7 Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions. Requirements \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 3 years proven experience in residential remodeling and construction as \xc2\xb7 Experience working in diverse teams. \xc2\xb7 Respect for the ancient traditions of the profession. \xc2\xb7 Previous experience of working in a maintenance field as a gypsum carpenter and painting worker. \xc2\xb7 Ability to carry heavy objects and work in UAE weather conditions. \xc2\xb7 Ability to prioritize tasks and lead other members of the team. \xc2\xb7 A willingness to always follow safety guidelines. \xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational skills.
