to join our interior fit-out team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing and finishing gypsum board partitions, ceilings, wall panels, and decorative elements as per project drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards, partitions, and ceilings accurately.
Construct and fix framing systems using metal or wooden studs and channels.
Carry out jointing, taping, and surface finishing to a high standard.
Install decorative gypsum works such as cornices, moldings, and bulkheads.
Read and interpret construction drawings and layouts.
Ensure all installations are level, aligned, and meet quality standards.
Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades for smooth workflow.
Follow safety regulations and maintain tools and materials properly.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Gypsum Carpenter or in a similar role.
Good knowledge of gypsum ceiling and partition systems.
Ability to understand technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
