Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Gypsum Carpenter

to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of

two (2) years of proven experience

in gypsum board installation and finishing within the GCC region, preferably in the United Arab Emirates.

The Gypsum Carpenter will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing gypsum boards (drywall) in both residential and commercial projects. This position requires strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and work efficiently within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards according to required dimensions and specifications. Secure panels to walls and ceilings using appropriate tools, fasteners, and adhesives. Apply tape and joint compounds to seams and corners to achieve a smooth and uniform finish. Sand, finish, and prepare surfaces for painting or additional finishing work. Repair or replace damaged drywall and gypsum boards as required. Ensure all work complies with relevant

. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including painters, electricians, and contractors. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of

2 years of experience

as a Gypsum Carpenter or Drywall Installer in the GCC region (UAE experience preferred). Strong technical knowledge of

gypsum installation methods

, including cutting, fastening, taping, and finishing. Ability to

read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans

. Familiarity with

. Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy panels and perform physically demanding tasks.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in

decorative and customized drywall designs

(e.g., curved or textured surfaces). Ability to work effectively on both
