Job Description

Summary:

Experienced Gypsum Carpenter with a minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in installation, finishing, and maintenance of gypsum partitions, ceilings, wall panels, and decorative designs. Skilled in reading drawings, measuring, cutting, and assembling gypsum boards with accuracy and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Install gypsum partitions, false ceilings, bulkheads, wall panels, and decorative works as per drawings and site requirements. Measure, mark, and cut gypsum boards to fit specific dimensions and layouts. Assemble and fix framing systems (metal or wooden) for gypsum installations. Apply finishing materials such as joint compounds, tapes, and corner beads for a smooth surface. Repair and replace damaged gypsum boards and ceiling tiles as required. Maintain tools and equipment in proper condition and ensure safe work practices on site. Coordinate with electricians, painters, and other trades for smooth workflow. Follow site safety standards and wear appropriate PPE.

Skills and Competencies:

Proficient in handling gypsum board installation and finishing works. Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements accurately. Skilled in cutting, fitting, and aligning gypsum panels. Strong attention to detail and quality finishing. Good teamwork and time management skills.

Experience:

Minimum 2 Years UAE Experience in gypsum ceiling, partition, and finishing works for residential, commercial, and maintenance projects.
