The ideal candidate will have experience in cutting, installing, and finishing gypsum board systems for ceilings, walls, and partitions, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards (drywall) to walls and ceilings.
Construct and install metal or wooden framing for partition walls and ceilings.
Ensure accurate alignment, level, and plumb surfaces using tools such as spirit levels and laser levels.
Apply joint compound and tape to seams, holes, and cracks for smooth finishes.
Sand, smooth, and prepare surfaces for painting or other finishes.
Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Install ceiling grids, bulkheads, access panels, and decorative gypsum elements if required.
