The ideal candidate will have experience in cutting, installing, and finishing gypsum board systems for ceilings, walls, and partitions, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards (drywall/plasterboard) to walls and ceilings.
Install metal and wooden framing for partitions, ceilings, and wall linings.
Apply joint compound, tape seams, and sand surfaces to prepare for painting or finishing.
Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and spacing of boards and frames.
Cut and shape gypsum boards to fit around pipes, fixtures, and openings.
Repair damaged drywall or gypsum surfaces.
Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
