Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Gypsum Carpenter with

at least 2 years of proven experience working in the GCC

region, preferably UAE, to install and finish gypsum boards (drywall) in residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate must have expertise in cutting, shaping, and installing gypsum panels to create smooth walls and ceilings. This role demands strong craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to follow plans and work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure and cut gypsum boards to the required dimensions. Install gypsum panels on walls and ceilings using screws, nails, or adhesives. Apply tape and joint compound to cover seams and create a smooth, even surface. Sand and finish surfaces to prepare for painting or other finishes. Repair and replace damaged drywall or gypsum boards. Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and building codes. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including painters and general contractors. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a gypsum carpenter or drywall installer in the GCC region (UAE experience preferred). Strong knowledge of gypsum installation techniques, including cutting, fastening, and finishing. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings. Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes. Good physical strength and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy panels and work in various positions.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in creating decorative drywall designs (curved or textured surfaces, etc.). Ability to work on large commercial projects as well as small residential ones. Knowledge of various finishing techniques such as plastering and texturing. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Compensation:
