Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install gypsum board panels to walls and ceilings according to design specifications.
Construct and install suspended ceiling systems, drywall partitions, and bulkheads.
Install metal or wooden stud framing as required.
Apply joint compound and tape to seams and nail holes for a smooth finish.
Sand and smooth surfaces in preparation for painting or other finishes.
Ensure proper alignment, level, and plumb of installed elements.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
