The ideal candidate will have experience in cutting, installing, and finishing gypsum board systems for ceilings, walls, and partitions, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards, drywall panels, and ceiling tiles.
Construct and install metal or wooden framing systems for walls and ceilings.
Apply joint compound, tape, and finish seams and corners.
Create smooth, even surfaces ready for painting or other finishes.
Build and install gypsum-based decorative elements (e.g., arches, moldings).
Install access panels, acoustic ceilings, and fire-rated systems when required.
Repair and patch damaged drywall or gypsum structures.
Ensure alignment, leveling, and plumb installation of all materials.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
