The ideal candidate will have experience in cutting, installing, and finishing gypsum board systems for ceilings, walls, and partitions, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards, ceilings, and wall partitions
Frame and install metal or wooden studs and support structures
Create and install bulkheads, cornices, ceiling designs, and decorative elements
Apply plaster, joint compound, or tape to seams and corners for smooth finishes
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Inspect and repair damaged gypsum structures as needed
Ensure accurate alignment, leveling, and spacing of framework
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and other trades for coordinated work.
