The ideal candidate will have experience in cutting, installing, and finishing gypsum board systems for ceilings, walls, and partitions, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for gypsum/drywall installations.
Measure, mark, and cut gypsum boards to fit ceilings and walls accurately.
Install and secure gypsum boards on walls, ceilings, and partition frameworks.
Construct and install metal/wood framing for drywall and ceiling systems.
Tape joints, sand surfaces, and apply finishing compounds to prepare surfaces for painting or decoration.
Install decorative gypsum work such as cornices, coves, and moldings.
Repair or patch damaged gypsum/drywall surfaces.
Ensure installations comply with safety, quality, and building standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
