Key Responsibilities:
Install gypsum boards for walls, ceilings, partitions, and bulkheads.
Measure, cut, and shape drywall sheets to fit specific dimensions and layouts.
Secure gypsum boards to metal or wooden framing using screws, nails, or adhesives.
Apply joint compound, tape, and sanding to smooth seams and prepare surfaces for painting or decoration.
Create custom drywall features such as arches, niches, and recessed lighting spaces.
Repair or replace damaged drywall or ceilings as required.
Interpret drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
Ensure work complies with safety standards and building codes.
Maintain tools, materials, and workspace in clean and working condition.
