To carry out gypsum board installation, ceiling work, and partitioning as per design and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install gypsum boards for walls, ceilings, and partitions.
Measure, cut, and shape boards to fit specific spaces and designs.
Fix frames (metal or wooden) before gypsum board installation.
Apply joint compound, tape seams, and smooth surfaces for painting or finishing.
Repair damaged gypsum walls and ceilings when required.
Follow design drawings and layout plans accurately.
Ensure high-quality finishing and alignment.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a gypsum carpenter (2-3 years preferred).
Ability to read and understand layout drawings.
Skilled in measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing gypsum boards.
Knowledge of safety practices in construction or maintenance work.
Physical fitness and ability to handle tools and materials.
