Key Responsibilities:
Install gypsum board systems including walls, ceilings, partitions, bulkheads, and decorative features according to drawings and specifications.
Measure, cut, fit, and secure gypsum boards using appropriate tools and techniques.
Assemble and install metal or wooden framing for gypsum partitions and ceiling systems.
Execute tasks related to
fit-out and renovation projects
, ensuring high standards of finishing.
Assist with general construction and repair work as required.
Follow site safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project timelines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a
Gypsum Carpenter
, preferably in
maintenance and renovation environments
.
Strong knowledge of gypsum board installation, ceiling systems, partitions, and finishing techniques.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, layout plans, and specifications.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments related to gypsum work.
Good understanding of safety practices, tools handling, and site regulations.
Physically fit and able to work
long hours when required
