Job Summary:
A Gynecologist is responsible for providing expert medical care to women, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders related to the female reproductive system. The role involves prenatal care, delivery management, and postnatal care, as well as addressing gynecological issues including menstrual disorders, infections, and cancers.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient examinations and diagnostic procedures related to gynecology and obstetrics.
Manage antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care for pregnant patients.
Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions such as infections, hormonal disorders, menstrual irregularities, and cancers.
Perform gynecological surgeries including laparoscopies, hysterectomies, and cesarean sections as required.
Provide counseling on reproductive health, family planning, contraception, and menopause.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in compliance with DHA regulations.
Stay updated with the latest research, medical developments, and DHA guidelines related to gynecology.
Participate in continuous professional development and mandatory DHA CME programs.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
Educate patients and families about health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology (MD, MS, or equivalent).
Valid DHA license to practice as a Gynecologist in Dubai.
Proven experience in a similar role within a hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility.
Knowledge of local healthcare regulations, DHA policies, and clinical protocols.
Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical medical practices.
