Job Title : Specialist Gynecologist

Reports To : Medical Director

Location : DRFK Turkish International Day Surgery Center LLC, Dubai

Job Summary
The Specialist Gynecologist is responsible for providing high quality gynecological and women's health services in accordance with DHA regulations and clinical best practices. The role focuses on patient safety, ethical medical care, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment while ensuring excellent patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

Provide outpatient gynecological consultations, diagnosis, and treatment.
Perform gynecological procedures within the scope of DHA licensed privileges.
Manage antenatal, postnatal, and general women's health cases as applicable.
Ensure accurate clinical documentation in the EMR system.
Maintain high standards of patient safety and infection control.

Patient Experience and Ethics

Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and their families.
Ensure informed consent is obtained prior to procedures.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Handle patient concerns professionally and empathetically.

Clinical Governance and Compliance

Comply with DHA regulations, clinical guidelines, and internal policies.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
Report clinical incidents and near misses as per policy.
Cooperate with inspections, audits, and regulatory requirements.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with nursing staff, anesthetists, and allied healthcare professionals.
Support multidisciplinary care coordination when required.
Participate in medical meetings, case discussions, and training activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Education and Licensing
MBBS with specialization in Gynecology.
Valid DHA Specialist license or DHA eligibility letter is mandatory.

Experience
Minimum 5 to 15 years of post specialization clinical experience.
Experience in a day surgery center or hospital setting is preferred.

Strong clinical judgment and decision making skills.
Excellent communication and patient counseling ability.
High ethical standards and professional integrity.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced clinical environment.
