Job Description

The Gym/Fitness Instructor is responsible for planning, delivering, and supervising a variety of fitness and sports programs for members and guests. The role focuses on promoting physical well-being, safe exercise practices, and an engaging recreational environment in line with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement individual and group fitness programs tailored to members' needs, goals, and fitness levels. Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions and group classes in various disciplines such as strength training, cardio fitness, and functional training. Organize and oversee sports activities, tournaments, and wellness events for club members. Ensure all fitness and sports equipment are properly maintained, sanitized, and safely stored. Promote safe exercise practices and maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and first aid readiness within the gym and sports facilities. Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits. Support recreational programs and collaborate with other departments to enhance member experience. Maintain accurate records of fitness assessments, attendance, and member progress.
Qualifications & Requirements

Qualified Physical Education Instructor or Bodybuilding certification from a recognized Athletic Academy. Additional Training: Certified in hygiene, safety, and first aid is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and conducting individual fitness programs, group training sessions, and organizing sporting events. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate and engage individuals of all fitness levels; professional attitude, high energy, and commitment to member satisfaction; sound knowledge of exercise science, nutrition basics, and wellness principles.
