The Front Office Reception performs check in/out and carries out any other duties as requested by the superiors of the FO department.

? Welcoming guests upon arrival with a smile, using their name, giving them individual attention, following the welcome procedures in a friendly and professional manner.
? Being a Host of the reception at all times.
? Ensuring all preferences are met and collected during the stay.
? All preference need to be updated in IDS
? Perform all front office related tasks
? To monitor the proper allocation of all Room types as per preferences and availability.
? Communicate any guest feedback to the management in order to improve the services.
? Assist guests with any inquiries, handle and resolve guest complaints.
? Familiar with all Front Office related Opera functions including rate structure and special packages, discounts, room types, all applicable coding, bedding type, location of rooms and safety features.
? Be aware of daily functions, events, VIPs and group arrivals and carry out any other duties as required.
? Accept credit card and cash payments applying the hotel cash handling policy.
? To handle cash, foreign currency, accepted credit cards, paid out and rebates.
? To ensure that all city ledger reservations are properly routed according to the billing instructions.
? To suggest ways of reducing cost without affecting the hotel standards & quality of service.
? To ensure daily and monthly inventory is done
