Key Responsibilities:
Check-in & Check-out: Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all necessary information is accurately entered into the system.
Guest Communication: Answer incoming calls and emails, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
Guest Requests & Issues: Address guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Cash Handling & Billing: Process payments, handle cash, and provide accurate billing statements at check-out. Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
Room Inventory & Maintenance Coordination: Monitor room availability, perform room inspections, and liaise with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals.
Safety & Security: Ensure the safety and security of guests and property by following hotel policies and procedures. Address any emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college education or a degree in hospitality management is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in customer service, front desk operations, or the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Hotsaway , Hostafay) is a plus.
Problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
