Role Overview:
Marketing Communications Manager - Growth Markets is a strategic, data-driven marketer responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated marketing communication strategies and tactics with our dealers across Caterpillar's Building Construction Product group global growth markets. The primary goal is to drive top of funnel growth and new customer acquisition while retaining our current customers. The role, based in Dubai, will lead marketing experts for Africa, Middle East, India and China, and in addition, own and develop growth marketing plans for the Southeast Asia market.
What You Will Do:

• Oversee growth marketing planning and execution efforts across Africa, Middle East, India and China through a clear understanding of customers in each market and addressing their pain points across all marketing channels and tactics to create demand and drive new customer acquisition.

• Manage regional marketing consultants to develop regional growth (lead generation) and retention (nurture) efforts across markets.

• Develop and implement marketing communications and lead generation and nurture plans for Southeast Asia.

• Analyze market research and identify customer insights to ensure implementation of the right message strategy across our target customer segments.

• Manage omnichannel lead management programs to promote Caterpillar's small and compact equipment, technology and services.

• Gather, analyse and report information on industry, customer and competitive activities as well as marketing structure and trends.

• Align with Global Marketing Director and Regional Sales Directors to develop and monitor the right metrics to measure and improve effectiveness of marketing efforts in each region.

• Collaborate across other Caterpillar marketing leaders and business units in region to align with the enterprise strategy and resources.

What You Will Have:
Customer Focus: Extensive knowledge of customer purchase drivers and pain points across growth regions and target segments as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating marketing plans.

Creativity: Strong knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Vendor/Supplier Management: Strong knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
Promotion and Marketing Communications: Extensive knowledge of different promotional and marketing communication techniques; ability to use different marketing channels and tools in combination to focus on how a business communicates a message to the market.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
10 years of experience in relevant roles, preferably in B2B environments.
Preferred familiarity with dealer-based business models in industries such as construction equipment, automotive, or heavy machinery
Strong understanding of digital marketing, paid media, social media strategy, and omnichannel marketing principles.
Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
Experience in market research methodologies and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Additional Information:
This role requires up to 30% business travel across growth markets.
