Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled
Group Internal Auditor
with substantial experience in both the
GCC
and
Africa
regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, and enhancing the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance across various sectors, ensuring the company's operations remain compliant with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth audits of financial statements, internal controls, operational processes, and regulatory compliance across sectors such as
Trading, FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, Trading & Distribution, Real Estate, Ship Chandlering, Pharma, Chemicals, and Medical
.
Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of internal control systems, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending practical solutions.
Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans based on a risk-based approach, aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
Ensure that business operations comply with local regulations, laws, and industry standards in both
GCC
and
Africa
.
Analyze risk factors and provide guidance on mitigating exposure within the company's operations.
Liaise with senior management to present audit findings, actionable recommendations, and suggestions for improving operational efficiency and control systems.
Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations for senior leadership.
Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and resolve any discrepancies identified.
Stay current with industry regulations, market trends, and best practices to continuously enhance the auditing process.
Requirements:
CA,CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
,
CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
Minimum of
15+ years of experience
in internal auditing, with a focus on the sectors of
Trading, FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, Trading & Distribution, Real Estate, Ship Chandlering, Pharma, Chemicals, and Medical
.
Proven experience in the
GCC and Africa
, with a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape, business practices, and market dynamics in these regions.
Strong expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management.
Ability to assess operational processes and provide strategic insights to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or any other regional languages is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with multinational organizations such as
Asmara Holding Group
or other similar entities in
GCC and Africa
.
In-depth knowledge of regional industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and offer practical, cost-effective solutions.
Experience in managing multiple audits across different sectors simultaneously.
