Job Description
An international banking group headquartered in Switzerland, with a presence in 11 jurisdictions requires a Group Head of Human Resources. This individual will be responsible for leading the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s human resources function globally and is expected to serve on the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Executive Committee. The Group Head of Human Resources will be a senior professional who can operate in a highly regulated sector and has considerable generalist HR experience. To be well qualified for this role an individual needs to be a strategic thinker, proven business builder with international experience underpinned by a global mindset.
The Group Head of Human Resources will support the Group CEO in the execution of the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s strategy by providing human resources advice. They will develop and implement human resources strategies by establishing departmental accountabilities, including talent acquisition and retention, staffing, succession planning, employment processing, compensation and benefits, health and welfare benefits, training and professional development, records management, health and safety, and employee relations. The key responsibilities for this role:
- Set the strategic direction for global human resources consistent with delivering on the overall strategy of the Bank.
- Identify strategic HR requirements based on organisational vision, strategic goals and direction from Group CEO. Devise strategy for achievement of key objectives of HR.
- Build, lead, coach and motivate the team with strong focus on developing colleagues.
- Drive improvements for development of new and redesign of existing policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), performance metrics and KPIs.
- Focus on talent acquisition.
- Develop Bank\xe2\x80\x99s reward philosophy in collaboration with Executive Committee /Board.
- Strong academic background with university degree.
- Cultural sensitivity, maturity, and ability for cross cultural communication.
- Ethical professionalism, upholding highest standards of integrity and trust.
- English required. Other languages helpful.
