Position Overview
This Group Head - Financial Planning and Analysis role at Al Futtaim in Dubai leads the end-to-end FP&A function across the Group, covering Trading, Property, and Consolidated portfolios. The position drives annual budgeting, long-term planning, quarterly forecasting, management reporting, financial systems enhancement, and strategic analysis for senior leadership. The role also leads Group-level SAP S/4HANA and reporting system optimization to improve automation, accuracy, and reporting timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Group's Annual Financial Budgeting, Quarterly Forecasts, Rolling Forecasts, and Long-Term Planning
• Consolidate results for Trading Group, Property Group, and Full Group for management review
• Ensure finance teams across the Group follow guidelines and deliver budgets and forecasts through the BPC system
• Prepare and analyze Monthly Management Results with variance insights for senior decision-makers
• Deliver ad-hoc strategic analysis and reporting for Director FP&A, Group CFO, and Senior Management
• Facilitate Debt Covenant calculations, Working Capital Management, Capex Control, KPI reporting, fund flow modelling, and CFO presentations
• Drive SAP S/4HANA enhancement initiatives aligned with Group Finance needs
• Resolve system issues and guide finance teams using SAP S/4HANA and reporting systems
• Review system functionalities, recommend improvements, and ensure stability in coordination with EIT
• Lead improvements in group reporting systems, automation, and standardization
• Review and update Group Financial Policies in collaboration with external consultants and business units
• Participate in policy workshops and support implementation across business verticals

• Experience working in a fully computerized financial environment with SAP, BPC, Hyperion, SAC, or similar systems
• Solid understanding of IAS/IFRS and group-level reporting structures
