Job Description

The Group Head -Education will provide diversified educational opportunities and support the creation of a new and sustainable school, a wider educational system, in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The postholder will support the school based Ayjal Senior Leadership team to deliver a competitive learning environment and the best services for students through the optimal use of the allocated resources. The incumbent will continuously strive to exceed internal and external customer expectations and embrace the Aldar Education Core Values. Main Duties:
  • To co-create, develop, and implement key improvement strategies to improve outcomes for ESE school students
  • To work as part of the wider school improvement team to enhance provision in ESE schools and ensure that school curricula is fit for purpose and provides all learners with dynamic and innovative learning opportunities.
  • To support ESE school leadership teams in the sourcing and delivery of staff training on educational matters and ensure that all are operated to the highest standards
Specific Duties:
  • To support the development of future focused curriculum models
  • To work alongside the education, IT, and technology teams in exploring, developing, and rolling out US curriculum model across ESE schools
  • To assist in the development of online learning solutions that meet the current and future needs of all learners.
  • To work with ESE school leadership teams to ensure forensic analysis of data to drive improvements in attainment.
  • To act as a source of support, advice, and expertise to staff on education matters
  • To support school leadership teams with progressing in Emiratisation objectives, and work with People & Culture to strategies and manage the approach for ESE schools as a group.
  • To lead the ESE school group recruitment programme along with People & Culture, in support of the school leadership effectively staffing their schools for present and future needs
  • To partner with ESE schools to ensure the continuing success of the ESE schools\xe2\x80\x99 programme.
  • To act as the conduit between the Finance department and schools in the effective creation and management of school budgets
  • Provide support to the Director of Managed Schools, and wider Executive Management Team on document and preparation materials for new ESE School projects.
  • To research latest pedagogy ideas and disseminate across ESE schools.
  • Work closely with ESE school leaders to support inspection preparation.
  • To undertake any other task deemed appropriate by the Director of Managed Schools.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Education or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with postgraduate qualifications in teaching (e.g. PGCE) essential
  • MA in Education, or NPQH, or similar professional qualification is an advantage but not required
Minimum Experience:
  • At least 2 years senior leadership in a primary/elementary school setting,
