Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the activities of all the accounting department\xe2\x80\x99s staff (Corporate, Real Estate, Investments and Tax.)
• Oversee the month-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Champion transformation initiatives for the overall Finance function, by strategizing and executing adoption of process reengineering and technologies including but not limited to ERP systems, RPA etc.
• Responsible for tax planning, reporting, filing and interactions with/submission to relevant tax authorities directly or indirectly.
• Maintain accounting system to ensure the proper, complete, and accurate record-\xe2\x80\x90keeping of accounting company transactions are performed in compliance with IFRS standards.
• Evaluate departmental performance and make adjustments to daily operations when needed to ensure the department meets overall goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 10+ years in controlling and/or accounting experiences within and/or outside GCC
• BA/BS Degree in Accounting, MBA preferred
• CPA or CA qualified, including continuing professional development and learning
• Must have Group Consolidation experience
• Previous experience in a family office, large holding/ Conglomerate is preferable.
• Strong collaborator, committed to building a company for the long term and to creating a legacy
• Experience in building and sustaining a \'high-performance\' culture designed to drive continuous improvement for the business and the Finance team
• Must have successfully implemented technology within finance in his/ her previous experience
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
• Advanced computer skills especially EXCEL
• Fluency in English a must with high level of written and oral communication skills
• Arabic speaking would be a plus
