Location: Dubai, UAE Reporting To: CEO / Board of Directors Job Overview The Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a strategic financial leader responsible for driving the companyaEUR(TM)s financial health, governance, and growth, ensuring long-term sustainability and regulatory compliance. This role requires deep expertise in IPO readiness, capital markets, valuation, and corporate finance, particularly within the payments and fintech industry. The CFO will play a critical role in fundraising, investor relations, and financial risk management, enabling the company to scale in a highly competitive market. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Strategic Financial Leadership Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy to support the companyaEUR(TM)s growth, scalability, and profitability. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis at a group level. Ensure financial discipline, cost optimization, and operational efficiency across all business units. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board on capital structure, investments, and strategic initiatives. IPO Readiness & Public Listing Lead the IPO preparation process, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and listing standards. Engage with investment banks, legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies to facilitate a seamless public listing. Implement financial reporting frameworks in line with IFRS, SEC, and other public company standards. Strengthen corporate governance, internal controls, and financial transparency to align with public market expectations. Corporate Finance & Capital Markets Drive fundraising efforts, including debt and equity financing, private placements, and strategic investments. Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessments to guide executive decision-making. Lead M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships to expand market reach. Build and maintain strong relationships with investment communities, analysts, private equity firms, and institutional investors. Payments & Fintech Industry Focus Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory frameworks governing fintech and payments. Develop and oversee monetization strategies for digital payments, e-money, and transaction-based services. Implement risk management, AML compliance, and fraud prevention measures in financial operations. Leverage financial technologies (FinTech solutions) to enhance reporting, analytics, and decision-making processes. Financial Governance & Risk Management Establish robust financial controls, policies, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance. Monitor and mitigate financial, operational, and market risks to safeguard the companyaEUR(TM)s stability. Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements. Oversee the enterprise risk management framework, ensuring financial resilience against economic fluctuations. Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary liaison for investors, financial institutions, and market analysts. Develop and present financial reports, earnings releases, and investor presentations. Foster relationships with regulators, banks, auditors, and key external stakeholders to support the companyaEUR(TM)s financial objectives. Key Qualifications & Experience Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance from a recognized institution. 15+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within fintech, payments, or financial services. Proven track record in IPO execution, public listing, and corporate finance. Expertise in capital markets, M&A, investor relations, and fundraising (debt/equity). Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, IFRS, SEC, and CBUAE compliance frameworks. Hands-on experience with financial modeling, valuation, and risk management. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making abilities. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Successful execution of IPO or other capital-raising strategies. Revenue growth, profitability, and cost efficiency improvements. Investor confidence, market valuation, and shareholder returns. Regulatory and financial compliance with zero major audit findings.
