Job Description

Our client, a prestigious university based in Ras Al Khaimah, is seeking to recruit a talented Graphic Designer.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually engaging designs across various platforms. You must be creative, adaptable, and collaborative, with a strong ability to work closely with different departments.

Key responsibilities include designing marketing materials such as websites, digital banners, books, magazines, posters, flyers, brochures, exhibition displays, and corporate communications and branding assets.

Working from briefs provided by the senior management, you will develop innovative and visually compelling concepts that align with the institution's brand and objectives.

The role requires a strong creative flair, proficiency with the latest industry software, and a professional approach to managing time, budgets, and deadlines.

Collaborates with team members and project stakeholders to fully understand the assignment, target audience, and intended message. Develops original visual content that effectively communicates the desired tone and message in an engaging and cohesive manner. Selects appropriate graphics, clip art, and stock photography; enhances visuals with original illustrations when needed. Chooses suitable fonts for written content and prepares sample layouts for review and approval by clients or project leads. Produces initial drafts of design work, such as flyers, and submits them to relevant departments for feedback and revisions. Incorporates collaborative feedback and revises designs to meet project expectations. Consults with the respective team members on complex or specialized design projects. Prepares print orders and detailed assembly instructions once final approval is received. Maintains accurate records of project hours for billing and reporting purposes. Possesses a solid understanding of digital media, printing processes, photography, illustration, and typography. Demonstrates strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Capable of capturing and editing short video content as required. Performs other related duties and assignments as needed.

Education | Credentials | Work Experience | Core Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, or comparable design software. Knowledge of video editing and motion graphics is an advantage. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively. Bachelor's degree required; a major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related fields is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with major Adobe software, animation programs, and other editing tools. A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is highly preferred.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
