Job Description
Technical Skills
? ?Expert in Adobe Creative Suite -- especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
? ?Strong understanding of print specifications (CMYK, bleed, trim, resolution, DPI, color profiles).
? ?Knowledge of large format and small format printing processes -- offset, digital, screen, and signage production.
? ?File preparation mastery -- packaging files correctly, embedding fonts, outlining texts, linking images, etc.
? ?Preflight checking -- ensuring print files are technically correct before release to suppliers.
Production & Material Knowledge
? ?Familiar with different substrates and materials (vinyl, acrylic, fabric, paper stocks, etc.).
? ?Understands finishing techniques -- lamination, mounting, die-cutting, embossing, foil stamping, etc.
? ?Can coordinate with suppliers and printers for mockups, color proofs, and production specs.
Attention to Detail
? ?Sharp eye for alignment, consistency, and typography accuracy.
? ?Checks all elements -- colors, spacing, logo placement, spelling, and visual balance -- before sign-off.
Workflow & Project Management
? ?Can handle multiple jobs simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
? ?Works closely with designers, art directors, and account teams to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
? ?Keeps organized file systems and naming conventions for easy retrieval and collaboration.
