Graphic Design & Development

• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
• Upon receiving brief, ability to discuss the business objectives and requirements of a project.
• Estimating the time required to complete a job.
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, come up with different angles and creative ideas.
• Using innovation to materialize a design brief within time and brand guidelines constraints.
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.
• Presenting finalized ideas and concepts internally.
• Working with a range of media, including and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
• Proofreading to produce accurate, error-free and high-quality work.
• Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print.
• Take photos and shoot video to create content for sales collateral and social media.
• Prepare designs and support with emailer marketing / SMS / WhatsApp communication.
• Working as part of a team and with printers, web developers and marketing specialists.
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints.
• Amend designs after feedback.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and in line with company\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.
• Support in any creative / marketing related task.

Operational / Administrative

• Manage Makeen\xe2\x80\x99s social media channels, including publishing & scheduling posts + handling the community management.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and suppliers.
• Arrange for required permits.
• Update listings on aggregator portals.
• Update content on company websites.
• Support the sales / leasing team with requests.
• Support in events planning and coordination.
• Build good relationships with team members in Makeen as well as in Group Marketing.

Qualifications

• Graphic Design degree or diploma from a recognised school/University/Institution
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree would be a plus.

Additional Information

Skills & Professional Requirements:

• Excellent IT skills including mastery of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience in both offline (brochures, newsletters, flyers, billboards, stands\xe2\x80\xa6) and online design (websites, banners, e-newsletters, social media\xe2\x80\xa6).
• Experience in photography / videography and video editing software.
• Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript.
• Experience in 3D design (3DMax\xe2\x80\xa6) is a plus.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience, either in similar setting or with a marketing or creative agency.
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense (corporate identity, logo design\xe2\x80\xa6).
• Confidence to present and explain ideas to colleagues.
• Interest in graphics, photography, videography, typography.
