Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications, the Graphic Designer role is responsible for working on visualizing, creating graphics including brochure, signage, posters layouts including photos and capturing video for MH\xe2\x80\x99s initiatives, as per the Manager, Marketing and Communications\xe2\x80\x99 direction. They will adhere to the strict branding guidelines for published brochures, product packaging, exhibitions and more. The Graphic Designer will need to be fluent in Adobe creative software such as Illustrator and InDesign to deliver high quality products to a high technical standard. They must be well organized and able to manage several projects at once. A key attribute for the role will be excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Responsibilities
Work on branding, advertising and other visual, multi-media campaigns, in alignment with overall campaign goals.
Design new and updated marketing materials \xe2\x80\x93 e.g. brochures, direct mail, e-shots, posters, adverts, signage, banners, education materials, newsletters, corporate presentations, identity development and in-patient product branding for multiple internal and external audiences.
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines, work well under pressure.
Undertake photography and videography of people and infrastructure with photo/video editing and interpolating as and when required.
Well versed in Adobe creative suite including Illustrator and InDesign.
Liaise with contractors and printers as needed.
Final Artwork preparation for reproduction
Participate in other Marketing and Communications functions as needed,including but not limited to:
o Media relations
o Social media engagement
o Event management
o Campaign management
Ensure that all marketing related activities are completed in readiness of DOH/DHA audits
Other ad-hoc duties as relevant to Department objectives and requirements
Qualifications
Education
Essential:
Diploma in Multimedia
Preferred:
A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in Digital Media / Graphic Design / Multimedia or Marketing & Communications.
Portfolio with a maximum of 6 creative solutions showcasing a high level of creativity and technical skill.
Experience
Preferred:
2-5 years of relevant working experience in the UAE
Experience in print and electronic media
Prior Experience in a JCIA healthcare facility
Prior work experience in advertising

Essential:
Proficiency in English is a requirement written and verbal.
Project management skills, well organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Abobe InDesign, Illustrator and other creative software.
Must have a thorough understanding of all digital media and reprographic systems.
Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the local market, including cultural sensitivities
