Key Accountabilities:

Graphic Designer:

Plans concept by studying information and materials.

Conceptualize, design and produce graphic-intensive images, packaging, brochures, advertising, signage and other materials for internal and external use by the company and subsidiaries in promotion of its communication activities.

Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.

Ensure that the graphics created are compatible with existing content and the brand image of the company.

Execute all retouching and Photoshop works on all images used in the layout and design of all publications and materials completed by the Art Division.

Completes projects by coordinating with the marketing team, printshops, etc.

Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Prepare printing and other reproduction specifications (select ink, paper, and print quality); inspect proofs for accuracy; recommend contractors (typesetters, printers, illustrators)

Maintain the graphic library of all images used in the promotion and marketing of all entities along with backups of all images in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Carries out and performs other related duties as specified and when required and assigned by the Manager to improve or enhance the efficiency of department's work and performance.

Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.

4+ years experience in graphic design in an advertising agency or in-house role.

At least 2 years of professional photography experience in either an agency or in-house environment

Must have experience / background in photography (product, lifestyle, landscape photography).

Strong organizing and planning skills

Strong presentation and communications skills

Ability to analyze graphic and technical information and create interpretive illustrations

Customer Focus, Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Handles rejection

Advanced knowledge in design & artworks through Adobe Suite software

Knowledge of printing and/or reproduction processes and techniques

Ability to analyze and interpret user graphic requirements

Ability to develop print and/or reproduction specifications

Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Creative Services

Understanding of advanced photography principles and composition (lighting, exposure, depth of field)

Excellent attention to detail, this position will include juggling hundreds of product shots in a fast paced environment

Ability to work with multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
