Graphic Designer - Commercial Printing Press

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

Graphic Designer

to join our commercial printing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience preparing artwork for print production, understanding file setup requirements, and ensuring high-quality output across various printed materials. This role requires both creativity and technical expertise, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and prepare artwork for a wide range of print products, including brochures, flyers, business cards, packaging, banners, and signage. Set up print-ready files with correct bleeds, color profiles, resolutions, and formatting. Review customer-supplied files and make necessary corrections to ensure accurate print output. Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and production staff to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions. Assist in layout adjustments, color matching, prepress tasks, and proofing. Maintain brand consistency across all printed materials. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting production deadlines. Stay updated on printing technologies, materials, and design trends relevant to commercial printing.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Strong understanding of print production, prepress workflow, and color management (CMYK, spot colors, Pantone matching). Experience preparing files for digital and offset printing. Ability to analyze and correct file issues such as fonts, image resolution, and layout inconsistencies. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work with clients and cross-functional teams.
