The graphic Designer is responsible for the design and publication of advertisement materials for the College. This position requires creativity, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently. Graphic Designer must work constructively and collaborate with those in the Marketing and Students Recruitment team.
Collaborate with the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) in developing marketing material related to startups incubation and acceleration, mentorship programs, think tank, and overall business development
Plan, run and optimize the display advertising elements required for marketing campaigns
Accountable for the design of banners, prints, landing pages etc.
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Illustrate concepts by designing samples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submit them for management approval
Produce graphic designs for brochures, print and online advertisements, posters, digital displays, flyers, and other publications in accordance with the Marketing and Student Recruitment team\xe2\x80\x99s guidelines
Use digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs
Ensure that all designs are properly aligned with the College branding and marketing standards
Ensure all design requests are well developed and completed within deadline
Review designs before printing or publishing them
Work with the Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Marketing and Student Recruitment and Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer to produce unique, innovative designs
Create visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations that help deliver a desired message
Amend designs based on the feedback
Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for design illustrations required for the Marketing and Students Recruitment team
Work closely with Marketing and Students Recruitment team from type-setting, designs and prints required for various events
Liaise with external printers ensuring material are printed to the highest quality within the timeframe
Manage the requirements of designs and prints for marketing and recruitment events Knowledge and Skills
Goal oriented and highly ethical.
Knowledge of HE sector or target audience.
Ability to work as part of a team in a multi-cultural environment and to cope with pressure in a positive manner while working to deadlines within a busy and demanding environment.
Must be accurate and pay close attention to detail.
Good interpersonal skills.
