Are you eager to start your career in road design and engineering? AECOM invites you to apply for the role of Graduate Highways Engineer within our esteemed Highways team. This opportunity is part of our exclusive 2025 Graduate Program, where you will gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in road design and engineering.
Role Overview: As a Graduate Roads & Highways Engineer at AECOM, you will be a key member of our Highways team, working on impactful road design projects and gaining exposure to essential design software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers in preparing scope of works documents and project design criteria.
• Apply Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures to ensure sound and coordinated design across disciplines.
• Gain experience in road design, including plans, profiles, typical sections, cross sections, and signage.
• Utilize PowerPoint to create presentations and progress reports.
• Demonstrate strong communication and technical report writing skills.
• Develop proficiency in road design software.
• Familiarity with engineering standards, codes of practice, and local authority guidelines is advantageous.

What We're Looking For: We are seeking a motivated graduate who:

• Is passionate about road design and engineering.
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Is proficient in design software or willing to learn.
• Has a keen attention to detail and a desire to deliver high-quality work.
• Have previous consultancy road design internship experience is a plus.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with courses taken in Roads/Highways related subjects from an accredited University

• Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
• Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
• As part of AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
