About the Role

The Graduate Highways Engineer shall be literate in Road design software including AutoCad and Civil3D, and shall have the following skills:Be able to assist the senior engineers in preparing a of scope of works documents and projects design criteria.Be able to understand and apply the QA/QC checking procedures as per company policy to ensure sound and coordinated design both internally and across other disciplines.Has the basic experience and understanding in the design of Roads (plans, profiles, typical sections, cross sections and signage).Demonstrate excellent working knowledge in the preparation of Power Point presentations and progress reports.Possesses sound communication and writing skills along with preparing technical reports.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Basic understanding and working knowledge of Roads design software.Understanding of engineering standards, codes of practice and local authority guidelines is a plus.Consultancy road design internship is a plus. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, with a Master's Degree in Roads related major is a plus.Must be a 2021 graduate or graduating no later than Sept 2022Successful applicants must have a 3.4 GPA or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

• Must have 1-2 years of experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with interest in client-facing work.
• As part of AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
