Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently looking for a Graduate Engineer - Corrosion to join our Digital Consulting Business Unit. This position is based in Abu Dhabi office and will report directly to the Integrity Management Team Lead.

The successful candidate will be resopnsbile with the following;

• Data collection and gathering of information of multiple sources as part of performing studies.
• Data QA/QC and validation
• Applying industrial recommended practices as well as knowledge of other operators codes
• Support Corrosion assessment on pipelines and equipment
• Development of corrosion loops, Corrosion assessment reports, which may include ILI reports, Fitness for Service (FFP/FFS), Remnant Life Assessment (RLA) / Recommendations for Repair Reports (RRR), ILI raw data, Direct Assessment reports etc. as a primary input
• Work on any other tasks assigned within the department including maintenance, vibration, integrity, material and other relevant engineering scopes.
• Liaise with the Wood global offices for support where needed but expected convergence with Wood Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Sites Visits outside offices as & when required.
• The candidate may be required to work from the client\xe2\x80\x99s office sometimes per project demand.
• Project planning and mini project management will be part of the role
• Reviewing proposals to ensure that project expectations are met
• Responsible for the development of project plans for all on going Asset Integrity Solutions projects
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and interface with global offices supporting the delivery of each project
• Responsible for measurement of projects margins and identification of project risks
• Working closely with finance to ensure correct and timely invoicing and cash collection on projects
• The role also includes interface with regional clients, where applicable

Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills

• Engineering degree at distinction level or above from an accredited University
• Further qualification in Commerce / Business / Data Analytics / Marketing or previous commercial exposure would be advantageous
• We will consider fresh graduates or engineers with up to 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience, with remuneration for this position reflective of experience
