Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in designing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for commercial and residential buildings
• Support the integration of energy-efficient and renewable systems, including LED lighting, smart controls, and solar PV installations
• Participate in developing BIM models and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architecture, structural, and mechanical engineering
• Review design calculations and ensure compliance with relevant local and international electrical codes and safety standards
• Contribute to sustainability-focused designs that enhance energy efficiency and system performance
• Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and drawings under supervision
• Support site-related coordination tasks and learn the design-to-construction process lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineers on smart building technology implementation and modern energy solutions

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (graduated in 2024 or 2025)
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher (or equivalent)
• Strong academic foundation in electrical systems, energy design, and power engineering
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and basic BIM tools preferred
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Passionate about sustainability, innovation, and smart building technologies
• Available to join the AECOM Graduate Program in November 2025
• UAE National holding a valid Family Book (mandatory as per Emiratisation requirements)
