Perform initial assessment and triage of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Provide immediate diagnosis and management of acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
Initiate appropriate investigations and interpret results to guide treatment.
Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients prior to specialist intervention.
Administer basic emergency procedures such as wound suturing, fracture management, resuscitation, and emergency medication administration.
Collaborate with emergency physicians, surgeons, and other specialists as required.
Ensure thorough documentation of patient history, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.
Maintain a calm and efficient approach under pressure while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Educate patients and their families on post-emergency care and preventive healthcare measures.
Participate in emergency drills, departmental meetings, and ongoing training programs.
