Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated dental professional to participate in our School Health Screening Program. The role involves conducting dental check-ups for school children and applying fluoride varnish as part of a preventive oral health initiative. The goal is to promote early detection of dental issues and improve oral hygiene awareness among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct oral examinations to assess dental health, identify cavities, and check for gum or alignment issues. Apply fluoride varnish safely and effectively to help prevent tooth decay. Educate students on proper oral hygiene practices and healthy dietary habits. Maintain accurate records of each student's dental assessment and treatment provided. Ensure infection control and safety protocols are strictly followed during the screening process. Coordinate with school authorities and the medical centre team for smooth program execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Dentistry (BDS/DMD) or Dental Hygiene. Valid DHA/MOH license (as applicable). Experience in pediatric or community dental programs preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and child-friendly approach.

Program Duration:

Project-based (as per scheduled school screening dates).

Objective:

To support children's oral health by providing preventive dental care and fostering lifelong healthy habits through school-based interventions.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 48 per week
