Government Relations Officer Interior Fitout

Job Description
The Government Relations Officer (GRO) will handle all government and authority-related processes for the company's interior design and fit-out projects. The role involves obtaining approvals, permits, and clearances from various UAE authorities to ensure smooth project execution and legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage authority approvals and submissions related to
fit-out and design projects
. Liaise with and obtain necessary approvals fromDubai Municipality (DM), Civil Defense, DCD, DEWA, DDA, TECOM, Trakhees, EHS, and other relevant authorities
. Prepare, submit, and follow up on drawings, NOCs, and completion certificates. Ensure all project-related permits and approvals are obtained within deadlines. Maintain accurate records of all submissions, permits, and renewals. Coordinate with the design and project management teams to ensure documentation compliance. Handle company documentation related to trade license renewals, visa applications, and other official requirements when needed. Stay updated on changes in authority regulations and procedures affecting project approvals. Represent the company in meetings with authorities and inspectors as required. Support consultants, subcontractors, and clients in facilitating approval processes.Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in any discipline. Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in authority coordination or PRO work within aninterior design or fit-out company
in the UAE. In-depth knowledge of authority procedures forDubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, DDA, Trakhees, TECOM
, etc. Proficiency in online approval systems and submission portals. Excellent communication skills in English. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Valid UAE driving license preferred.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
