Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced British Governess/Tutor to provide academic support for an 8 year old and a 6 year old. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, have a strong understanding of early childhood development, and be willing to travel with the family during summer and winter breaks. A UK, or European passport is a must for travel purposes.

Responsibilities

Academic Support: Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to help the child excel in their studies, including reading, writing, math, and other subjects as needed. The focus is develop their knowledge outside of academic school subjects.

Curriculum Development: Create engaging and personalized lesson plans that align with the child's educational goals, interests, culture, and etiquette.

Homework Assistance: Assist with homework assignments and ensure completion.

Travel Companion: Be willing to accompany the family on domestic and international trips during summer and winter breaks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in education, early childhood development, or a related field.

Proven experience as a governess, tutor, or teacher.

Strong academic skills and a passion for education.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide individualized instruction.

Willingness to travel extensively.

CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).

Must carry a European or North American passport for traveling reasons.

Must speak British English.

Job Conditions

Day off once a week, Wednesday off.
