Job Description

A VIP family living on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai are looking for a governess to care for their 4 children aged, 14, 13 and 7-year-old twins. The position would be live-out, 6 days per week. The daily hours would be split, 5:30am-9am and then 4:30pm-10pm Monday through Friday and Saturday 10am-4/5pm.

The children follow an American curriculum so knowledge of this would be a plus. Morning duties would include checking and packing the children's school bags, helping them to get ready, and then either the familys' driver would take the children to school or you would drive them yourself. From 4:30pm the governess would take the children to ECA's and play-dates, help the children with their schoolwork, attend school meetings, plays, and events, etc. The parents travel frequently and during this time the governess will be required to stay over at the house. If it's an extended period of time, they will fly, along with the children, to meet the parents. The governess would also have an assistant to help her. This is an animal friendly household and the family own a cat and a dog. The candidates should be English speaking, but Spanish being a second language is a plus. They should have an educational background and at least 5 years of experience. The candidate must be a driver and hold a valid UAE drivers license. The family are offering 1x return flight per year, medical insurance, and a visa. There is a competitive salary for the right candidate.
