Job Description
An experienced and competent Governess/Nanny with a teaching degree is required to work in a formal, fully staffed house, working as part of a team with 4 children, Girl 12 years old, Boy 11 years old, Boy 10 years old and Boy 8 years old.
The hours of work are 12 hours a day, 6 days a week with time off whilst the children are in school. The accommodation is a lovely self-contained flat.
The successful candidate would be required to support the children in all areas of the curriculum, especially in English Maths and Science. You would need to be confident in creating extra lesson plans for the holidays and after school in term time, for each individual child to suit their level of learning. This would go side by side with the homework already set by their schools.
You would be responsible for organising diaries to include visiting other relatives for the older children and playdates for the youngest and planning age-appropriate activities in the holidays.
The family would like someone who is happy to travel with the family and be a warm hearted, caring adult for the children to turn to. Nursery duties are not required in this position.
A driver is essential and the family will provide the candidate with own car.
An excellent salary is being offered to attract the right standard of Governess.
The family would like an ASAP but are willing to wait for the right candidate.
