Job Description
A GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Manager in Beyond ONE will be responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards while managing risks and implementing effective governance practices. The specific responsibilities of a GRC Manager may include:
The ideal GRC Manager for Beyond ONE and all its subsidiaries should have a strong understanding of telecommunications regulations and standards, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. They should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and have experience in risk management and compliance in the telecommunications industry. A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, such as law, business administration, or engineering, and relevant certifications, such as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CISM and CRISC are also desirable.
- Understanding and keeping up to date with telecommunications regulations, such as the CITC rules and guidelines, and ensuring the organization complies with them.
- Developing and implementing a compliance program that addresses all relevant regulations and standards, such as data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity laws.
- Conducting risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential risks to the organization and developing risk management plans to mitigate them.
- Ensure the management of the GRC solution, configuration of workflow and ensure the business flows of risk is working and reporting is available.
- Develop KRI for the entity, organization to give an overview of the risk profile and define risk threshold of the organization.
- Developing and maintaining policies and procedures for data protection, privacy, and security.
- Providing guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders on compliance and risk management issues.
- Coordinating with other departments, such as legal, finance, and human resources, to ensure consistent implementation of compliance and risk management policies.
- Conducting regular internal audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Leading investigations into potential compliance violations and implementing corrective action as necessary.
- Keeping abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in GRC and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Raising compliance issues to the senior management and review this with the entity CEO?s.
- Understanding of telco BSS and financial service domain is a requirement.
