Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Golf Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of all golf tournaments, outings, and special events. This leadership role is crucial to enhancing our club's reputation and delivering outstanding experiences for our patrons. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with impeccable organizational skills and a deep understanding of the golf industry.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all club golf events, from member-guest tournaments to corporate outings and major championships.
• Manage all event logistics, including scheduling, pairings, rules, scoring, and on-course contests.
• Collaborate with the golf, food and beverage, and marketing departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for event sponsors, participants, and vendors.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Create and implement event marketing and communication plans to maximize participation.
• Train and lead event staff and volunteers to provide superior customer service.
• Continuously evaluate and improve event offerings based on member and guest feedback.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in golf event management or a similar role within a high-end club or resort.
• Extensive knowledge of golf rules, tournament operations, and handicapping systems.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams.
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate event schedules.
• Proficiency in golf event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A passion for delivering world-class customer service.
