To service and maintain the Golf Operations Cart Fleet to the highest standards possible, performing a range of mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance and maintaining adequate supply of spare parts to minimize disruption to the Operation.
Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the overall upkeep of the Golf Operations Cart Fleet.
  • Ensure that all carts are serviced regularly and are fit for purpose with an accurate service history for the entire fleet.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects/failures on golf carts and utility vehicles.
  • Instruct/train and oversee Golf Operation colleagues regarding preventive maintenance and care of the cart fleet, including cleaning and battery charging procedures working closely with the Cart Shed Supervisor and Golf Experience Manager.
  • Prioritize equipment repair and maintenance work.
  • Maintain a filing system for the entire cart fleet and utility vehicles, which will include service history, service manuals and user manuals.
  • Manage the rotation of cart usage to optimize and extend battery life.
  • Coordinate with Golf Administration team for all parts related issues ensuring a fully operational fleet all year round.
  • Supports the Department Manager with spare part ordering and stock keeping.
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
  • Perform any other work related duties as assigned by the Department Head.
Additional Responsibilities
In line with the Club's strive for continuous improvement, you may be requested to participate in various extra activities contributing towards individuals and organizational growth.
Represents the department or a group in various committees, such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, Sport Committee or projects. Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider.

IT Security Awareness: * Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl.
  • Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
  • Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
  • All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.
