Job Purpose:
The Global Regulatory Affairs Manager is responsible for ensuring that all company products comply with international regulations, enabling smooth market entry and sustained global operations. This role plays a critical part in driving regulatory strategies, managing product registrations, and collaborating cross-functionally to support business growth while minimizing regulatory risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Strategy: Develop and execute regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with global regulations and support international product launches
Product Registration: Manage product registration processes in key markets, including EU, US, GCC, and others, ensuring timely approvals
Documentation Management: Maintain accurate regulatory records, including technical files, compliance reports, and product dossiers
Compliance Oversight: Ensure that product labels, packaging, and marketing materials comply with international regulatory standards
Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on changes in global regulations and assess their impact on company products and operations
Risk Management: Identify regulatory risks, conduct assessments, and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders
Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to integrate regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with regulatory agencies, industry bodies (e.g., IFRA, Intertek), and third-party organizations to support regulatory activities
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance regulatory processes and implement best practices across the organization
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in the perfume, cosmetics, or personal care sectors
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and product registration processes in international markets, especially EU and US
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory bodies (e.g., IFRA, Intertek)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in regulatory documentation systems and software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
