Job Summary
The Investment Analysis Consultant - Downstream is a key advisor to Corporate management as well as other organizations within the company on various financial and economic issues related to the company\'s downstream capital program. Downstream business encompass oil refining, chemical, fuels distribution, retail and marketing sectors. As different business units develop their capital plans, the Downstream Consultant will evaluate the economic attractiveness of the projects, risks associated to the projects and impact on the portfolio of investments of the Company.

Responsibilities:
- Conducts industry business development reviews.
- Maintains economic evaluation models for downstream projects.
- Analyzes and interprets data to support capital investment decisions.
- Evaluates complex downstream project proposals, including joint ventures and acquisitions.
- Advises project teams on economics and risks, translating risks into financial terms.
- Identifies optimization opportunities within projects.
- Acts as a gatekeeper, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Represents the company at conferences and seminars.
- Builds and maintains relationships with industry experts and companies.
- Benchmarks company performance against competitors.
- Assists in training and mentoring junior staff.
- This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Financial Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Ongoing professional development through study, work experience, seminars, and courses.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in the oil refining, chemicals, distribution, and marketing industry.
- At least 5 years in a planning role within the oil downstream business.
- Expertise in economic and business factors in the oil downstream industry.
- Strong knowledge of downstream project types for economic analysis.
- Proficiency in various economic modeling techniques.
- Effective communication of complex concepts to diverse audiences.
